Instructions & Guidelines for the Students

  1. GITAM Graduation Day 2026 (Hyderabad Campus) is scheduled for 01st August 2026, from 3 PM onwards.
  2. All eligible students are required to register for the Convocation/ Graduation Ceremony either in-person or in-absentia on or before 23-07-2026.
  3. The students, who are not able to attend the Convocation/ Graduation Ceremony in person, can register as in-absentia. All such candidates must provide a full postal address for sending the degree certificate by registered or speed post.

Dress Code

The following attire is mandatory for all students attending the Graduation Ceremony:

  • Boys : White Kurta and Pyjama
  • Women : White attire (Kurta Pyjama or Saree)
  • Students in informal dress or footwear will not be permitted for the event.

Graduation Ceremony Fee

  • In-person : Rs.3,000/- (1 student + 2 persons)
  • In-absentia : Rs.3,400/-
  1. The Convocation/ Graduation Ceremony of GITAM (Deemed to be University) is scheduled to be held at Bengaluru campus on August 08th, 2026.
  2. All eligible students are required to register for the Convocation/ Graduation Ceremony either in-person or in-absentia on or before 23-07-2026.
  3. The students, who are not able to attend the Convocation/ Graduation Ceremony in person, can register as in-absentia. All such candidates must provide a full postal address for sending the degree certificate by registered or speed post.
  4. Reporting Time: 8:00 AM
  5. Event Commencement Time: 10:00 AM

Dress Code

Please adhere to the formal dress code for the ceremony.

  • Boys : Formal trousers with a light-coloured full-sleeve shirt and shoes.
  • Women : Salwar Kameez/Chudidhar or Saree.
  • Students in informal attire or inappropriate footwear will not be permitted to attend the event.

Graduation Ceremony Fee

  • In-person : Rs.3,000/- (1 student + 2 persons)
  • In-absentia : Rs.3,400/-
  1. The Convocation/ Graduation Ceremony of GITAM (Deemed to be University) is scheduled to be held at Visakhapatnam campus on August 23rd, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
  2. Time for Registration : Registration for the Convocation starts at 8:00 am
  3. The students, who are not able to attend the Convocation/ Graduation Ceremony in person, can register as in-absentia. All such candidates must provide a full postal address for sending the degree certificate by registered or speed post.
  4. Mobile Phones : Ensure your mobile phones are set to silent mode during the Convocation ceremony to avoid any disruptions.
  5. The Admit Cards for Convocation 2026 will be made available on the Student Portal, under the label “Admit Card,” latest by 5:00 p.m. on August 20th 2026 (Thursday).
  6. Please be seated in your allocated seat by 9:15 AM.

Please note we have complimentary food coupons for student + their 2 guests. For additional guests, food coupons can be purchased through the link shared over the email @350 INR per pax.
