Instructions to the Students
- The Convocation Ceremony of GITAM (Deemed to be University) is scheduled to be held at Hyderabad campus on July 19, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Shivaji Auditorium, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Rudraram, Hyderabad.
- All students are required to register for the Convocation Ceremony either in-person or in-absentia on or before 14.07.2025. After in-person registration, the admit card will be available for download from 17.07.2025.
- The students, who are not able to attend the Convocation Ceremony in person, can register as in-absentia. All such candidates must provide a full postal address for sending the degree certificate by registered or speed post.
- You are required to report at the registration desk with your admit card before 10:00 AM on July 19, 2025 to collect your Convocation / Graduation Ceremony kit. Please note that failure to report on time may result in denial of entry into the auditorium.
- Please collect the stole between 09:00 am and 10:00 am on July 19, 2025 from the registration desk. The graduates may retain the stole.
- Kindly report at the venue at 10:00 am on July 19, 2025. Those reporting late will not be permitted to enter the Auditorium.
- Your digital certificate can be accessed from the National Academic Depository (NAD) - DigiLocker and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC). If not registered, you are required to register at https://nad.digitallocker.gov.in/students.
- The Graduation Ceremony of GITAM (Deemed to be University) is scheduled to be held at Visakhapatnam campus on July 26, 2025 at 10:00 in Dr. Yellapragada Subba Rao auditorium, GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, GITAM (Deemed to be University), Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam-530045.
- All students are required to register for the Graduation Ceremony either in-person or in-absentia on or before 14.07.2025. After in-person registration, the admit card will be available for download from 24.07.2025.
- The students, who are not able to attend the Graduation Ceremony in person, can register as in-absentia. All such candidates must provide a full postal address for sending the degree certificate by registered or speed post.
- You are required to report at the registration desk with your admit card before 8:00 AM on July 26, 2025 to collect your Convocation / Graduation Ceremony kit. Please note that failure to report on time may result in denial of entry into the auditorium.
- Please collect the stole between 08:00 am and 9:30 am on July 26, 2025 from the registration desk. The graduates may retain the stole.
- Kindly report at the venue at 9:30 am on July 26, 2025. Those reporting late will not be permitted to enter the Auditorium.

- The Graduation Ceremony of GITAM (Deemed to be University) is scheduled to be held at Bengaluru campus on July 27, 2025 at 10:30 am at the GITAM campus, NH 207, Nagadenehalli, Doddaballapur Taluk, Bengaluru-561203, Karnataka.
- All students are required to register for the Graduation Ceremony either in-person or in-absentia on or before 14.07.2025. After in-person registration, the admit card will be available for download from 25.07.2025.
- The students, who are not able to attend the Graduation Ceremony in person, can register as in-absentia. All such candidates must provide a full postal address for sending the degree certificate by registered or speed post.
- You are required to report at the registration desk with your admit card before 9:00 AM on July 27, 2025 to collect your Convocation / Graduation Ceremony kit. Please note that failure to report on time may result in denial of entry into the auditorium.

Important Guidelines
To maintain the dignity and decorum of the convocation ceremony, students are requested to adhere to the following
- T-shirts in any form are not permitted.
- Sleeveless or transparent kurtis are not allowed.
- Shawls and stoles are prohibited.
- Flowers, handbags, or other personal items should not be carried during the ceremony.

Dress Code
While the University does not mandate a specific dress code, the following attire is strongly recommended for maintaining decorum during the ceremony
- Male Students : Formal trousers with a light-coloured full-sleeve shirt and shoes
- Female Students : Salwar Kameez / Chudidhar or Saree.
Convocation / Graduation Fee
- In-person : Rs.3,000/-
- In-absentia : Rs.3,400/-
General Guidelines
Please observe the following DOs and DON'Ts during the Convocation / Graduation Ceremony. It is our responsibility to maintain the decorum.
DOs
- Occupy the seats allotted to you in the auditorium as per the schedule.
- All participants are requested to stand when the procession enters the Auditorium and kindly remain standing until the Invocation is over.
- All participants are requested to keep standing in their places while the academic procession leaves the auditorium after the function.
- Kindly maintain decorum during the function.
DON'Ts
- Do not enter the auditorium after the academic procession has arrived.
- Do not move around in the auditorium during the function.
- Do not clap, whistle or cheer while in the auditorium.
- T-shirts in any form are not permitted.
- Sleeveless or transparent kurtis are not allowed.
- Shawls and stoles are prohibited.
- Flowers, handbags, or other personal items should not be carried during the ceremony.
During the Convocation Ceremony, the University will confer
- Honorary Doctorates to eminent personalities for their outstanding contributions to society.
- Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees to graduating students.
- Medals and awards to academic toppers across various programmes.
